The mandate

This isn't an optional add-on — it's now part of the CBSE curriculum.

CBSE has introduced Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence as a formal curriculum for Classes III to VIII, effective the 2026–27 session, in line with NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023. It applies to every CBSE-affiliated school.

The goal isn't to turn ten-year-olds into programmers. It's to build logical thinking, structured problem-solving, and an early, ethical understanding of how AI works — skills the Board now expects schools to demonstrate, not just describe.

Most schools face the same gap: teachers ready to adopt the framework, but no age-appropriate, activity-based content to deliver it with. This programme closes that gap in a single term, with a trainer who has already done this at scale.

Curriculum Structure

Classes III–V build computational thinking through unplugged, game-like puzzles. Classes VI–VIII layer on a dedicated AI literacy component alongside continued CT practice.

Four Core Skills

Every grade builds toward the same four capacities: decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking — the same reasoning that underlies how AI systems work.

Each grade is a two-hour, hands-on session that builds directly on the one before it — from first encounters with AI to designing and pitching an original AI-assisted project.
